♥...Apam Tepung Beras...♥

apamtpgberasFinally I'm able to post this N3! My project last night!kenyit

This recipe became really famous overnight! And the recipe owner is none other than...a person whom we fondly call Kak Watie, from Penang!

I, however missed seeing this apam at her blog initially... and luckily Ros from Osaka promoted the recipe at her blog then! So, credit goes to both! sengihnampakgigi

This is my first attempt making steamed apam...I think it should be opening up at the surface, unfortunately mine did not! (Ros, we were in the same boat!) ihikhik. But the taste is surely 2 thumbs up! I just loved it...so fluffy! Rishie and Ashika joined me as well!

Check out KakWatie's, Ros, Kak Mimi's and MamaFami's!!!

Okey, here's the recipe...translated to English...

Tepung Apam Beras (Rice Flour Apam) by KakWatie!

Ingredients :~

1 cup cooked rice
2 cups rice flour
1 cup sugar
1 1/4 cup water
1 teaspoon yeast
1 pack eno

Method :~

1. Blend rice with water until smooth and then add sugar, rice flour and yeast. Blend again until synonymous. Put mixture into an airtight container and cover it. Marinate for 3-4 hours.

2. Stir the mixture gently and add eno, continue stirring. Colour it if U like and leave it awhile. ( I coloured them as I wish...hehe)

3. Heat water in steamer. Add mixture into moulds and steam it for 15-20 minutes over high flame. (pour only 3/4 of each mould)

4. Can be served with grated coconut (steamed and added lil salt) if desire. I had it just like that
